Right... I am challenging myself to eat near 100% raw the whole of February. Well, preferably forever, but, you know, short term goals. When I say near 100% I mean I won't cook anything deliberately but will include some questionable things like dried fruits, nuts, nutritional yeast, things in that vein.
I ate SO much raw chocolate again today, thank god I don't have any left now!
I ate nothing all day until 4 when I ate raw choc, a couple of bananas, raisins, cashews and some red pepper. I told myself I had to because I was going to the gym... I went and did an hour of body combat...its like kung fu aerobics, it's awesome. Then when I got back I had a smoothie and picked at a few nuts and dried fruits and a bit of apple.
I also made Russell James's spinach and wild mushroom quiche for tomorrow, the mixture tastes divine. I was watching a Jamie Oliver program and he was making a real quiche so I was inspired. I made just the filling once before and didn't dehydrate it for long enough but I've done it properly this time, except the quiche doesn't have any sides. Hmm. I didn't have any tins the right shape.
Tomorrow I think I will have...
Big green smoothie
Some fruit and veggies
Raw quiche!
I can't do any serious exercise because I have school all day and then my boyfriend is coming round right after and staying over...but I'll try and get him to come for a walk with me and he said he wants to go to the gym on Saturday, so we can go if we can get a lift. Argh, there are NO buses or trains to my gym, its a 45 minute cycle ride (and boyfriend can't ride a bike) so I have to rely on my parents for a lift. I can't wait until I can drive, only a few months until I get my car now.
Can't wait for tomorrow!

Raw chocolate...
I am a proper addict. I ate like 2 and a bit bars today!
It's just too amazing!
So far today I've had:
A pomegranite and some bluberries
A fruit smoothie with maca, hemp powder and coconut oil
A small green salad
RAW CHOCOLATE :p
Don't know what I'll have for dinner...I'm not in a salady mood.

Ready to get going for real
Hi, my name is Hannah.
I've been experimenting with a raw plant-based diet since last September but have faced a few setbacks. Since September I have ranged between 70-95% raw but one thing always gets me...BREAD!
I want to get over my starchy carbohydrate addiction and follow a fully raw diet, as well as get fit. When I saw fully raw, I'm not going to fuss about odd things like questionably pasteurized nuts, questionable sea veggies, that type of thing. I just ate a load of bread. Wholemeal bread with all sorts of seeds and no added crap, but it still makes me feel horrible! I can feel the food hangover coming already, ack.
From now on I want to achieve an all-raw diet because it makes me feel fantastic. I also want to make sure I do at least 30 minutes of cardio or toning.
I'm going to be writing about my food intake, exercise and day to day life to keep myself on track and see how I'm doing!
I also know I need to plan, plan, plan!
So, for tomorrow, I am going to plan to eat...
Bowl of pomegranite and blueberries for breakfast
Chopped up veggies for a snack
Salad for lunch
More chopped up veggies!
More salad for dinner, unless I come up with anything more imaginative...
Couple of squares of raw chocolate :)
Ergh, I feel so bloated, I need the raw energy!
Love,
Hannah x
